In addition to Industrial News, there were three other "News" tracks from the same Kosinus album to get non-highlight duty on NFL Primetime.  "Action News" & "Very News," both by Jean-Yves Rigo, were disproportionately used in playoff episodes and, more specifically, for playoff matchup/game-time previews.  "Network News," on the other hand, was only used one time that I'm aware of:  the secondary Inside the Numbers segment that followed the Saints/Rams Wild Card Game in 2000 (NO's first-ever playoff win).  It's a weaker song than the other "News" tracks, though, so that was no big loss.

With four songs used on the show, that puts the album Very News in a tie for second for most Primetime tracks along with David Reilly's Success album from Bruton (Sonoton's Automotion 3 has five).  Action News & Very News are currently available on APM's streaming service (linked above).  Unfortunately, Network News is by Christian Poulet and has therefore been purged from streaming for whatever reason (just as with Industrial News).

Unknown Song #31 Identified (+ additional note)

US #31, the first segment of Oddball Week, has been identified as "Go For It" by Ray Russell.  This is weirdly the second Week 1, 1997, song to come from a late-'80s MusicHouse album.  It's also the third Ray Russell track to be identified as an NFL Primetime track.  Oddly, two of Russell's three pieces were one-offs used for Cardinals @ Bengals games in the first week of their respective seasons (N.Y. Giants was used in Week 1, 1988).  Special thanks to Noah S for discovering this one.

Contrary to my recollection, "Industrial News" wasn't actually used on NFL Primetime all that much.  It was never the primary Inside the Numbers theme, and it was mostly placed in episodes with multiple ItN segments.  As a result, the song was disproportionately used during the show's playoff broadcasts.  It was also occasionally used for the other things, such as the 1998 playoff preview shown in the second half of my accompanying clip.

Industrial News comes from the Kosinus album, Very News.  Unfortunately, this track was replaced on the retouched, streamable version of the album contained on various library-music websites, so finding a hard copy rip somewhere (or just a hard copy) is probably your only option.  It seems everything involving Christian Poulet has been purged from those websites for whatever reason.

Unknown Song #32 Identified

Two down, five to go as far as Oddball Week is concerned.  The oboe-rich US #32 has been identified as Neo Dream (b), or as Neo Dream (Partie Rhyhmique) to be more precise.  It's contained on Kosinus 34 (Virtual Nature).  That album is streamable on both APM & Universal's production-music sites, but this particular song has been removed from the streamable version.  It seems that everything involving Christian Poulet has been scrubbed from the online edition of the Kosinus library, and perhaps other libraries.  Special thanks to Retronator on librarymusicthemes.net for identifying this track, and additional thanks to GodzFire for starting the thread on there that got this track ID'd.  Hopefully this won't be the last song to be ID'd there.

Unknown Song #43 Identified

A few days ago, three separate sources pointed out Unknown Song #43 for me at more or less the same time (José Teixeira on youtube, Craig-UK/Craig L on this site, & another guy I've been having private email correspondence with).  US #43 is "Hard Attack," by Fabien Chevallier, Christian Poulet, and Jean-Yves Rigo.  It's the first Primetime track I've encountered on the Kosinus Label, which—as you can probably guess from the artists' names—is a French production-music company.  I can't find much info on said artists, but I did notice that Poulet & Rigo are usually credited together.  Unfortunately, the album—KOS 24 (Metal Warrior)—is one of only a few Kosinus albums to be missing from the online streaming services.  You can find Hard Attack if you search "WCW Ultimo Dragon 1st Theme" on youtube, however.

*EDIT* - After finding an eBay listing for Metal Warrior, I found that only Poulet & Chevallier are credited for Hard Attack and not Rigo.

*SONG IDENTIFIED* - 12/23/18

As with many of the one-off (*EDIT* - this song was also used for the Cardinals/Panthers game in Week 16 of '01—thanks to Kyle Caughlin for that info.) tracks on NFL Primetime, it's not surprising Unknown Song #43 didn't stick around.  I actually didn't know this song even existed until I was in the middle of cutting US #42 last week (it's the very next highlight, so I again apologize for the low video quality).  It's not a memorable or interesting piece, and it only accompanied an uncompelling game—the only interesting thing about the game is that it was the first of LaDainian Tomlinson's career.

*SONG IDENTIFIED* - 3/20/19

It doesn't quite fit, but the second Oddball Week track is the best one.  I mean, I guess it does fit if you associate football with the oboe, but that proclivity probably isn't common.  This song would fit well in a JRPG, though.  It sounds especially like some of Noriyuki Iwadare's stuff from the Lunar & Growlanser series. I really doubt Iwadare wrote this particular piece, however, since all the Primetime tracks I've ID'd to this point have been by American or European composers.

US #32's highlight is quite appropriate for Oddball Week.  A full minute is spent showing the same punt over & over again.
