Unknown Song #49 (Pro?)

Song - Unknown Song #49
Primetime Usage - 2001-05
Featured Highlight - Cardinals @ Lions, 2003

Among the three mid-2001 additions, Unknown Song #49 is probably the weakest.  It's still better than most of the tracks that didn't last, though.  It also—unlike US #48 or the one I'll be posting next during Super Bowl week—doesn't appear to have been used in 2002 for some reason.  Anyway…  accompanying US #49 is the Cardinals/Lions season opener from 2003 where Anquan Boldin set the rookie debut receiving record.  Enjoy!

Oh, as an aside, it sounds like Chris Berman & Tom Jackson will be returning to host NFL Primetime for the conference-title games this weekend.  That's pretty cool…

*EDIT* - This song was used a couple times in 2002 (thanks to Robert Enriquez on youtube for the info).

  1. Have to personally disagree that this is one of the "weakest". For me, this might be one of the best NFL Primetime songs of all. Good timing on this video and the shout out to the Berman/Jackson Primetime reunion this past weekend. For those who missed it, the Saints/Rams game actually used Uknown #49! Yay! :D Here's the link:

    1. I just said I thought it was the weakest of the three mid-2001 additions, not one of the weakest overall. It's not my favorite, but there are quite a few worse ones than this one.

  2. Figured I'd also post the Chiefs/Patriots game reunion highlights as well, for those who missed it. Really was good to see the gang back together doing their thing. As always for the key (i.e. Patriot) game, "international Statement". Do the Super Bowl, please Chris and Tom! :D We miss you!

    1. Thanks for posting. The Saints/Rams highlight actually used US #49, for a fun coincidence.
